Is the Hotrock energy efficient?
The BIBO hotrock is designed with energy efficiency in mind. Thanks to its advanced insulation, heat loss is minimized-helping you save power and reduce environmental impact. However, as with any hot water system, some heat loss over time is inevitable, and the unit will need to reheat to maintain your chosen temperature. That’s where the temperature differential controls come in. You can control how much the temperature is allowed to drop before the BIBO hotrock reheats. This setting helps reduce the number of times the unit needs to reboil. The higher the differential set, the less often the hotrock reboils and the more energy it will save.
The BIBO hotrock is an undercounter unit that is best placed beneath your BIBO rock faucet and close to mains water connection and a power supply. It will need to sit in a cool, dry area away from heat sources or areas with risk of frezzing. Keep at least 10-15cm of space on either side of the unit and 2.5cm behind it to ensure adequate airflow.
